Both ephemeral and energetic, Tom Holden's pictorial gesture condenses a multitude of disparate phenomena through essential forms and colours. Visual elements of ancient and contemporary culture, everyday life, metropolitan sceneries and landscapes from the Mediterranean to Berlin, where Tom spent over ten years – translate into abstract worlds that never fail to feel intimate and intrinsically rooted into nature.

Poetic and rational modes visibly coexist, resulting in subtle distortions that unexpectedly engage perception, as abstraction suddenly reveals its latent figurative layer.

Born in Lancashire, Tom Holden studied Fine Art and Design in England, Germany, and Italy. He has been working for some of the most prestigious car design studios in the world for nearly two decades.

He currently lives in Royal Leamington Spa with his wife, son, and baby daughter.
