Across painting and sculpture, each artist approaches this idea in their own way, creating works that move between the physical and the atmospheric.

Presented within a beautiful pop up gallery space on Portobello Road, the exhibition continues 99 Projects’ approach of showing work outside the traditional white cube, allowing it to be experienced more naturally and in context. The works are brought together with an emphasis on how they sit within a space, creating a considered and immersive environment.

The exhibition features a mix of artists we have worked with previously, alongside new collaborations. We’re really pleased to be showing work by Carrie Jean Goldsmith, Seamus Gallagher, Tom Holden, Lucy Kent and Paul Vanstone.

Together, the works create a quiet, cohesive atmosphere — balancing colour, texture and form, and reflecting the way light shapes how we experience place.

Where the Light Lands runs from 25–30 June.
