A graduate of the Slade School of Fine Art,she exhibits both in the UK and internationally. Her work is collected widely andsits in collections in the UK, America, Australia, Europe and Asia.Mary’s work merges abstract and figurative elements to explore landscape throughlight, space and texture. Inspired by memories and emotions tied to specificplaces, her oil paintings emerge through intuitive gestures and layers, capturingfleeting moments. Painted both in the studio and en plein air, internal worlds mixwith external worlds. Chance accidents keep the process exciting, leading herdown unexpected paths. Seemingly insignificant drips create moments of beauty.Mary relishes the ever changing elements of nature and landscape, the wild andthe peaceful, the ebb and the flow and it is this that she seeks in her paintings.

Oil on canvas framed in dark oak

53cm x 63cm

£2500

2026

Oil on canvas framed in dark oak

33cm x 43cm

£1680

2026

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0642/0565/2223/files/WebsiteArtLayoutTemplate_ed52bc60-11f1-4ad5-9c8c-05e3a5253510.jpg?v=1791651385
